dont want to forget.

we love bath time.

Bath time in our house is FUN! Both kids LOVE bath time.

Kroten has gotten big enough to kinda chill in the bath by himself. I will run around the house doing things and check on him every few minutes, its kinda nice to get him out of the way for a little while.

The other day, he yelled for me, so I ran in there thinking that maybe something was wrong. He had his feet up on the side of the tub and said look what I can do. It was so cute. He was so proud of himself.

Kemiry KICKS and kicks and kicks during her bath. She talks and giggles and plays, its like a whole new baby when she is in the bath. Jared even says, next time she is in a mood, he is just going to put her in the bath.

maybe he'll be an artist?

Kroten  has become quite the little artist these days. He loves to draw and paint. His drawings are so detailed. He draws little squiggles and lines and can even now draw people, they need a little interpretation, but they are people none-the-less.

I love my little artist.

snow day

It snowed... and stuck... here in eugene... it was a treat.

Incase you are not from these parts, I say treat because it comes for one day, school, work, church or any other event that requires you to go out of your house, is cancelled, and then it melts, and goes away till next year.

It was a fun day.

We taught k man how to catch snow flakes...

and to build a snow man...

He basically loved it.

then drank cocoa...

Then got a big boy haircut which he didn't shed one tear for... he is such a big boy.

and the baby slept through the whole thing!

It was a good day.

happy love day to my love...

Jared,

I love you more than anything in the whole world.

Love,
your wife.

out of body experience.

Today we were at the park. I was changing Kem's diaper and I looked over and saw this...

You must know that last summer, Kroten would not go down this slide to save his life... and now look at him.

It was the weirdest moment, suddenly I was 18 again looking at my life, it was as though I, just then at that moment, realized what I have.

I have a son. He is two. He has red hair. I am a MOM! I have spent the last two years, every single day, with him. I love him, at times I have hated him, but he is mine.

Then I came back to reality and ran to grab my camera.

Then, it happened again, while I was pushing kem on the swing. It was like an out of body experience, like looking down on your life and seeing how truly awesome it is.

I have a daughter, a beautiful baby girl. When did she get big enough to sit in a swing at the park? She is just beautiful.

I seriously was thinking, when did I get two kids? How did I get to be 25? How did we get here?

Life has been so fast and crazy and busy that I think I forgot to breath for the last 5 years. I have been holding my breath, and at this very moment in the park, today, I breathed for the first time. It was like in the movies when everything around you is going fast, but your in slow motion. It was really like that.

Wow, life is really great.

And God has been so good to me.

Day Eleven: their dreams

Day ten: a space where they are comfortable.

He would, if he could, spend all day throwing rocks in the river.

day eight: a gift from the heart

We have taught him regular kisses, eskimo kisses, butterfly kisses, and his newest adaptation is the shark kiss and I LOVE IT!

my favorite gift from k man's little heart is, hands down, a kiss (of any form).

day five: love to hate

I love to hate the fact that little man wakes us up at the butt-crack of dawn demanding pancakes... EVERY MORNING!

a kem kem fix

I have been taking so many pictures of K man lately, that I just had to get a Kem Kem fix. I seriously could just eat her.

I figured you could use a kem kem fix as well.

Day four: what they wear

He looks like my buck-a-roo...

Oh, and he looks like his daddy.

day one: what they do

If he could (and mommy was willing to push) he would swing all day long.

the joy of LOVE

I joined up with this awesome photographer who is doing a FREE 28 day photo class. (its not too late to sign up click here.)This is an awesome opportunity. She will be sending out an email everyday with a tutorial on making your pictures better and a topic of the day. I will be joining in with tons of others to learn more and challenge myself to take better pictures.

The idea is to pick a person or persons that you love and photograph them every day, using the topic she sends each day. I have three valentines, but I am choosing to capture Kroten because most days, he is the hardest one to love. But I do love him, and I think if I focus my efforts from this project on him, I will find more and more and more reasons that I love him.

So are you ready for lots and lots of photos of kman? (I promise to throw kem kem in the mix too, how could I not, she is so darn cute.)

Lets get photographing!
