Girls Camp

Thanks Rachel and your facebook for this little cartoon.
Although this is exactly what it was like when I came home, I had a blast. The spirit was so strong, the songs were fun, the food was great (I gained 3 lbs,) I fell in love with the girls in my unit, and I HAD A BLAST.

These are my girls...Sadie, Phoenix, Bethany, Trisha, Brooke, Me, Madison, McKenzie.

They were creative.

They were Lazy.

They put up with me.
That is supposed to be a toga by the way.
Yes it is a tent rain fly,
and yes it makes my hips look huge.

They were crazy and daring...

...or were they daring and crazy...

THEY WERE FUN!

They were hungry.

And I loved every minute with them.
GIRLS CAMP IS THE BEST!

This was the view from my tent every morning. The trees in our unit were beautiful, and very useful. It was pretty hot all week, so they provided some nice shade.

(flattering pic, I know, you don't have to tell me.)
One of my favorite nights of the week. Jared and Kroten came to visit. It was really hard to leave them, but totally worth it. I missed them both like crazy. But in the end it worked out. I LOVE GIRLS CAMP.

And Jared is FANTASTIC. The best dad in the world and the most amazing husband EVER! Thanks Hun, for taking care of Kroten J and letting me go to camp. Oh and going to school. You are the best. MUAW.

amanda

Amanda is one of my closest friends, we have been friends since my family moved here when I was in 2nd grade. I look up to Amanda for so many reasons. She is gorgeous, faithful, funny, talented, the most optimistic person I know, and an awsome friend to boot.

She and her great hubby have been through some hard stuff this last year, things I would never wish upon anyone. But as I have watched her, she has faced every trial the Lord has passed her way gracefully, with faith and optimism. I admire everything she stands for and everything she is.

Happy News...
Amanda and Jed are expecting a little girl next week. We couldnt be happier for them.

I was thrilled that she agreed to let me take pictures of her prego-ness. I personally think they turned out great.

What would be a tribute without pictures.

It took him a while, but one day it just clicked.
He can drink from a straw.
And he can't get enough of it.

wordless Wednesday

Raspberries with my Mom.

My mom and I went and picked raspberries this morning. Dont ask me what I am going to do with 5 lbs of berries by tomorrow. You have to do somthing with them within a day or two or they will go bad. I'll probably freeze some and we will eat the rest (Kroten Loves them). YUMMY.

Thank goodness for camera phones...

This is the first berry we picked, IT IS GIMONGOUS.

Naturally sweet, simply beautiful.

Mom with some of her crop.

My harvest.
