I think he likes it. he gets all gitty and happy. But then he starts to cry, I think they kind of scare him.

Baseball.

In our house, excitement is in the air as the baseball season goes into full swing. We went to our first ball game of the season yesterday. It was a Ducks game. It was fun and it was a beautiful day... We gladly welcome all aspcts of spring.

I know it is bad, but a ball game wouldnt be a ball game with out a hotdog. I was so happy.

Jared has a 30 minute commute to and from work, so he listens to the radio a lot. He put the radio station's number on speed dial in his phone so he can be the third caller and win something cool. The other day, he got lucky and was caller number three. He won tickets to the flash back movie of the week which was Roger Rabbit. So we went, it was pretty fun. It seemed like a different movie now that I am older. It wasnt the movie that was so fun, it was seeing Jared so excited about winning something.

Belnap Hot springs

I know I am going to sound like a broken record, but Oregon is so beautiful. We went hiking up at Belnap Hot Springs this last weekend. It was a little rainy, but I like that. It was so green and pretty and there are so many trails and cool gardens back in there. It was fun. It is also fun because they have a big natural hot srping pool. We had a lot of fun and can't wait till the weather is better to go back and go camping. There are a lot of pictures with this one, I figured no one would care.

Pies.

We had a pie activity at church and I made two pies from scratch. I even made the crust. One was a strawberry rhubarb, and the other was banana cream. It was SOOO good!!! I must say that I am pretty proud of myself.
The lattice top was kinda difficult to figure out, but I did it. It was fun to try something new. I think I might do it a again.

10 Months Old.

WOW, I cant believe that Kroten will be a year old in two months. Some times I dont notice how fast he is growing and then it hits me how big he has gotten. He is crawling, rolling, pulling himself up on things, eating table foods, sleeping through the night (most of the time,) saying BAAA (like a sheep,) growing out of his clothes, giving kisses and fives, and being loved to death. 10 Months... Wow.



He loves to blow raspberries with his lips. It is one of his many ways to communicate.


Still sucking his thumb. I am getting a little worried that he will never stop, but it is so cute so I am not too worried yet. I am just so glad that he can self soothe.

First trip to the park.

Kroten loved the park. It was a little cold (as you can see by the fleece sleeper) but he had a blast. He loved the slide, but he was a little weary of the swing, he was shaking because he was scared. It was so cute to see him so excited. I can't wait for a warmer day to take him, it will be so much fun. I cannot believe how big he is getting, He is such a cutie, but time flies by.

Jared is a Rocker.

Jared wears this wig every now and then while plays guitar hero. I think it makes him feel like he is really on stage. He says it gets him a better score. The real reason is that he has had this wig forever and wont throw it out because he is sure that he will find a reason to wear it, I guess the wig has found its purpose.

Teeth.

We finally got a picture of his chompers. He is getting so big I can't believe it. So far he hasn't done to much damage with his teeth. There is one book that has some teeth marks in it, but other than that nothing much. He like to bite his cheerios when he eats them and he is eating table foods now, that has been an interesting experience and a topic for a separate post. so here is a pic of his teeth for ya'll. Isnt he so cute.

Jared's Rockin' Birthday Bash.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!!!

Jared turned 26 today. We celebrated yesterday with a Guitar Hero party. Jared is pretty excited about his new game, and I am excited that he won't be playing need for speed any more.

Jared opening his presents. He got a tie, a shirt, a new gas grill and guitar hero. He is pretty excited, unfortunitly he knew he was getting the game.


I made him a guitar cake. It turned out awsome. It was hard but well worth the work, and it was good too.


He is too old to put a canle for each year, maybe next year I will just cover the cake with fire!!!


Kroten enjoyed it too, Grandpa got caught, with black frosting there was no hiding that he fed Kroten somthing he wasnt supposed to.


Emily and I battleing it out. I won, I am pretty good at it... NOT!!!
