Make it stop.

The weather outside is frightfull
and the oreos and hot chocolate are delightful.
since rexburg is boring and we have no place to go,
what the heck... let it snow.

Our managers are dumb and they wont shovel, so Jared shovels every day. Look how much snow there is. I think there is like like 3 feet, and it just keeps coming down.








If I look happy to be standing in this weather, you have been sadly mislead. Despite your first impressions, I am not enjoying Rexburg winters.



Jared shoveled before church and by the time we got home, the walk way was covered. Then an hour after he shoveled, there was about another inch, Hence the reason I say... MAKE IT STOP.

I swear at times this baby has a bat and ball in the womb with him. When I sit still for more than 10 minutes he goes wild. For such a small baby he is really moving alot. It is really exciting, and kinda sureal. It has been nice because it is finally sinking in that I am really pregnant. I cannot wait till jared can feel it too. Last night it felt as though the baby was swinging his bat at my tummy it was right under Jared's hand and he couldnt feel a thing. Soon, really soon. It still is a little wierd that we are going to have a little thing around real soon. I am just trying to enjoy each step and not wish it to go too fast, mostly becuase I am not looking forward to labor, but also becuase I am kinda having fun. Any one who knows me real well, and knows anything about my first trimester knows that this is a big step forward for me.

Fishies

Jared got 5 fishies during the week, to tie him over until I will let him get a kitty or two.He was way excited, and he feeds them like five times a day. I think he is just excited to have the baby and he couldnt wait to take care of something. So after some poking and prodding I let him get some fish.The other day we were eating lunch and one of them almost jumped out of the tank. After three days of them being home and in the tank, Jared went to feed them for the fifth time of the day and he noticed that there were only four of them swimming around. So when we saw that there was one missing, we assumed that he finally jumped out all the way. Jared, crying, searched the floor and found the dead fishy under the table. It was kinda finding nemoish, but our fish committed suicide. Jared was only sad for a second and then relized that he can exchange it if it dies within 90 days, and we hope suicide is covered in that policy.

4 1/2 Months Prego

I can't see too much of a difference from last month, but it is getting bigger, trust me on that. I have felt the baby move a few times, I thought it was kinda early but the doctor says it is normal and good. I can only feel it if I lay on my back and stay really still. Pretty exciting! 5 months to go.

It's a Boy!

Can you tell what it is? He wasn't shy at all, he just showed it like it is! Were really excited, we would have been happy with a girl, but were glad it's a boy.

Xander

We went home for christmas which was exciting, but unfortunatly our nephew Xander was sent to the hospital the day we got there. it was fun to see him, but sad. He is doing better now, and not in the hospital any more. We got to see alot of him and my brother becuase of it though. here are some pictures of the little tike in the hospital.

if you didnt read the above blog, this is not my baby, ours is on the way, this is my newphe Xander. But I will make a cute mom huh!



And Jared is an excelent uncle and he will make a great daddy... a little hesitant at first, but he'll warm up real soon!!!

The christmas tree hunt.

We hiked up in the mountains to get our christmas tree, it was quit the hike. We found one after about 2 hours of foreging our way through the think forest landscape. The pictures are mainly of us hiking through the feet of snow and trees, to find the perfect christmas center peice. my favorite picture is of jared making his way through the cold, bow saw in hand. The other one I like is jared laying on the ground with his tounge out, this picture was of him seeing how tall the christmas tree was. We estimated about 3 feet taller than him, but we were off by a few feet, and cut off about two feet just to get it in the door. Over all, great experience, I cant wait to make our kids do this every year!

This picture shows how trecherous the terrain was. okay it wasnt that bad, but I like to make it sound like it.

We hiked all the way down this trail, only to find no good trees and then had to hike back up. My favorite part was the CRUNCH CRUNCH sound the deep snow made.

Look how thick the trees were, at times I wished that I had a machetee (spell check!) unfortunatly the trees were so think that none of them were very full. so we moved on to another spot.

ahhhhh... atlast we found a tree!! This picture is the most handsom manly man in the world doing his magic with a tool. None other than a bow saw.

3 1/2 Months Prego!!!

This is Kristen modeling her new maternity pants... they are still a little big, but this is the first signs of a baby bump... We just read in our baby book that the baby is about 4" long, so that is like a small squirel in her tummy... gross imagery I know, but it works.

2 Months Prego!!!

This picture was taken a little while ago, at 9 weeks. Any bump you see is all me, the baby is too small. But this will give you a reference for when the curvy pictures start coming!!! Oh and Jared got me this pretty flower because he loves me!

The News!

I am told I should update our blog a little more, I wanted to go back and post up to now, but I guess I will just start with whats new...WERE HAVING A BABY!This is baby Moss'first ultrasound at 9 weeks. were at week 11 right now, and it is due June 3 2008. Were pretty excited. Kristen has been really sick. We will try hard to keep this updated from now on.
