And they we are living every moment of it so far.

Getting ready for Halloween
Last night, we got out the Halloween box to pick out costumes and put out some decorations. In the middle of the box was a trick or treat bag full of last years Halloween candy.

Here fishy fishy
We have a few seafood lovers at our house. We spent a few days this summer fishing. Some of those days were relaxing and lovely, other were rough and horrible. lets just put it this way, I will never go deep sea fishing again...

It was so much fun to spend this time with RL and Joanne. We are going to miss their family so much.
I may look somewhat happy, but trust me, I am not. It was awful, terrible, absolutely horrible. I was sea sick almost the whole time and the waves were so bumpy that I was sore for two days after. I fell at one point and completely bruised the back and front of my thigh. I thought I broke something because it hurt so bad.
Jared wasn't sick at all. Not one bit. He loved every minute of it.
Sadle mountain
This hike was rated as difficult. I didn't mean to test the person who was paid to rate this hike, but I did doubt it it a tiny bit. We decided to drag the kiddos on this hike despite the sign at the beginning of the hike stating the severity. 2 miles and 2000 ft elevation gain.
After several pep talks and lessons on self talk, they made it. It was a wonderful day.
