Jared is an Associate
He didn't walk in the graduation ceremony to receive his diploma, he did, however, walk to the mail box to get it.
It isn't really a big deal to him to get his Associates degree, its just a paper saying "good job... your half way there." But I wish he knew how much it means to me and to our family that he is going to school and working toward a career, one that will make him happy and us financially stable.
When we got married, he swore that he would never go to school and look at him now, with an associates degree.
Good job Jared... your half way there!!

Hungry hungry hippo.
I really hope the nick name doesn't stick, I guess I should stop calling her that, but kem is really out hungry hungry hippo. She will eat anything and if she can pick it up with her own fingers all the better.
Eat baby eat...while being chubby is cute!

clap your hands
I love this age, she is growing like crazy and developing so rapidly. I love watching her grow and learn... it helps a little that she is so darn cute!

Its been a good mothers day...
"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled, will all disappear all too soon and that you will, to your surprise, miss them profoundly.... find joy in the journey—now." -Thomas S. Monson
It is BY FAR one of the hardest things I have EVER done in my life, to be a mom, but I LOVE it so much.
I love my babies!
Happy Mothers day to all you amazing mothers, including my own and my hubby's, I look to your example for help and advice everyday. I love you and so do your babies.

jump like buzz
My dad tivo'd a two minute clip of toy story on ice at their house, so now every time we go to grandma's house, we watch it over and over and over again. He puts on my dad's old clunky snow boots and a bike helmet and pretends to ice skate and says "watch me jump like buzz." So I thought it was time to take him skating. It was the funniest and cutest thing I have seen. He is so cute, this is something we will be doing in the future.
(sorry, pics from my phone.)
Apparently my mom is some sort of derby queen, she was better that me on these things. I may or may not have fallen on my butt multiple times.
One day maybe he will skate like buzz, for now it was fun falling on our butts together.
