Colorful bread

We painted our bread with food color water (healthy i know.) and then toasted it. They loved it. :)

I only blog about this because it is a huge part of our lives its not to boast about how awesome I am. :) its funny, i have no problems bloging and bragging about my cute kids or my fantastic husband but when it comes to posting about myself or my successes I feel prideful and weird.

anywho...

I have been so busy with photoshoots. I have had enough time to figure out that right now through Christmas is the busy time. Senior portraits are due soon. Families book now because they don't want to miss the sunny weather. Families book because they want the fall colors. Families book because they want Christmas card photos. Back to school portraits. Etc. Its crazy busy. I have been doing two to three photo shoots a week. We totally need the money and I truly think heavenly father is blessing us with this extra income. I love it but does someone want to come clean my house. ;)

both the kids are little artists and love to draw. We have several white boards throughout the house that definitely get used. This is a portrait of papa. :) so creative and smart.

Pickles.

Last year around this time, we saw the pickling cucumbers at the farm and decided that we (Jared and I) wanted to make pickles next year (this year.) So That is just what I (Jared was at work) did. 

Sliced cucumber for bread and butter pickles... YUM.

25 jars of pickles and I am beat! Don't ask me what we are going to do with 25 jars of pickles, i did not think that one all the way through when I started. Nap time.

The summer days are fading and allthough i am very excited for fall and crisp nights and apple Cobbler, i am a little sad to see the warm days outside leaving. So we will enjoy it while it lasts.
