I LOVE THANKSGIVING!!!

Thanksgiving is hands down my favorite holiday. There are a million and a half reasons to love it but I will just give you my top 20.

1. It is all about food.
2. Jared doesn't have to work.
3. It is a good excuse as to why I haven't started my diet yet.
4. It is in Fall. (my favorite season.)
5. Red and Orange are thanksgiving colors (again, a favorite.)
6. I love to play football.
7. It is about people coming together.
8. Turkey is delicious. (whoever decided it should be the main course for this day was a genius.)
9. Going shopping the next day.
10. Turkey sandwiches (for the next week.)
11. Pie.
12. We get to take naps.
13. Stuffing Rocks.
14. Tomorrow I get to legally start listening to Christmas music. (I have been sneakily doing it for about 3 weeks now.)
15. It means Christmas is close.
16. Video Games. (This was Jared's favorite.)
17. Sparkling Cider
18. This thanksgiving made me particularly grateful that we are moving and I will soon have more counter space to cook on.
19. Left overs!!
20. It reminds me to be grateful.

Just in case you were wondering. Kroten did not really drink the cider and he did not enjoy the turkey. However he did he did get to have a feast. He tried sweet potatoes as his first vegetable.

Catch up.

Two weeks is a long time to not post. It is insane how fast Kroten Develops. A lot happened in two weeks, I don't even know where to start... I guess we will just dive in.

1. Kroten is sitting up all by himself. He topples over after a few minutes, but nonetheless, he is doing really well.

2. We have had a hard time getting him to go in his exersaucer. I was afraid he would never like it, but he finally does. and he has a hay day in it.

3. It is getting colder outside, Kroten doesn't seem to mind. Oh and in case you were wondering, he is still cute as ever.

4. He gets himself into the funniest fixes at night.
I dont know how he does it.

This is how we put him in the crib at night.

This is where he was when he woke up.

5. Apparently Kroten Loves pickles. It was a fluke that he
tried them. He wouldn't stop screaming during dinner so
I gave him a lick to see if he would stop, unfortunately
taking it away made him cry more.

6. And I save the best for last. Watch this video to see
Kroten's newest, and Daddy's favorite, trick.

Its over.

Whew.

That was fun. I Really Enjoyed the assignment, but to be honest, I am glad that it is over. I learned a lot about finding things to photograph in my everyday life. It is amazing how much interesting stuff you can find in your life if you just look.

I personally thought 14 days was a little to much though. 10 would have been almost perfect. Maybe next time Brother Clark.

Over all though, I enjoyed it. I think you should all do it. Just take 5 to 10 days and do a Photo Journal on your blog. it is interesting what you might see.

Hijacked Blog

This is going to be interesting, but bare with me and I think it will be kind of fun. I know that you have heard a lot about my photography, but that is my life right now. For my photo class, we have an assignment to take one photo every day of the everyday things in our life and post it on our blog. So for the next 14 days, you will get to see my photo journal. Hope you enjoy.

He did it.

He has been so close to rolling over for so long, and he finally did it. This was the third time he did it tonight and we finally caught it on video. He gets really mad and cries and then when he finally gets over he kicks with excitement. He is getting so big. Hooray for Kroten.

life is...

John Lennon said,
"Life is what happens when you are busy making plans."

I try to make this my life motto, but unfortunately I constantly fall victim to the making plans part. It is going to be one of my new years resolutions to stop making plans and just enjoy life more. But until then...

Im getting out of stinky, old, cold Rexburg in...36 days.

I think Ill make a paper chain.

Halloween

For Halloween we showed true Tigers spirit. Jared was a Tigers baseball player, Kroten was the baseball and I was there #1 fan.
My two baseball players. I can't wait till they can play catch.

Kroten is a natural. He is going to be so good with a bat.
